You will receive immediate access to materials from Scripps via download as soon as you register your school. Once you hold your Bee, your school's spelling bee champion will advance to the Fairfax County Spelling Bee, held on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

January 8, 2026: Live Q&A with Eliza: For Bee Judges, Pronouncers, and the Coordinators Who Train Them, 7 PM via Zoom
January 31, 2026: School enrollment CLOSES
March 6, 2026: Deadline for enrolled schools to complete their spelling bees
March 13: Deadline for enrolled schools to register their bee champions to participate in the 2026 Fairfax County Spelling Bee
March 22: 2026 Fairfax County Spelling Bee, Lake Braddock Secondary School, Burke, VA
May 26-28, 2026: The 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee will be held at Constitution Hall, 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006. The bee champions of schools enrolled in the 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee in the area of Fairfax County and Alexandria City are the ONLY spelling bee champions eligible to participate in this Scripps Regional Spelling Bee.
