Areas of Focus for 2022-2023 School Year
PTA advocacy- it's at the foundation of everything we do. We are a trusted local community voice. Our work is nonpartisan, nonsectarian and noncommercial. This includes:
These broad areas encompass a great deal of work that we are engaging with every day, particularly through our Citizen Advisory Committee work and representation on other community groups. It is hard to find a week go by when our Board isn't meeting with FCPS leadership or elected official to relay concerns and comments, or engaging in outreach to leadership via phone or email.
