Sesssion I: 7:00-8:00 PM – Officers and Board Member Essentials: Learn about Officer and Board Member responsibilities, resources being provided to set up virtual/hybid/in-person meetings, working together as a Team, holding elections, following Parliamentary rules, promoting membership campaigns and marketing PTA, partnering with staff and administrators, as well as guidance and support offered by Councils. Q & A time will be offered!
Session II: 8:00 PM-9:00 PM- Treasurers & Financial Planning: Learn about resources provided for submitting required financial items to IRS and VA PTA, financial reports, what PTA funds can be used for, utilizing MemberHub to submit dues and membership roster, non-dues income from Grants and Sponsorships, and High School ANGP info. Q & A time will be offered!
