Special
Education Committee
This committee is made up of the special education PTA
representatives in all FCPS schools and other interested volunteers. It
“meets” in an on-going
email discussion group and periodically in person. The committee
maintains a Special Ed Calendar.
The purposes of the committee are:

to provide representation on
the County Council for students with disabilities and their parents
-
to help funnel information
to and from individual schools and parents
-
to encourage individual
PTA’s to have special education representatives
-
to provide support to those
representatives.
