Welcome and thank you for visiting the Fairfax
County Council of PTAs website. This is an important tool in our
efforts to maintain regular two-way communication with our parents and
our community. We have attempted to include information and links that
will assist our local units but if you cannot find what you need, or
have a suggestion for a link that you think parents throughout Fairfax
County would find useful, please contact us.
The FCCPTA executive board meets on the first
Monday of every month at 7:30 PM at the FCPS Gatehouse Administration
Center, 8115 Gatehouse Road, in Falls Church, and
meetings are always open to anyone. We also have general membership
meetings four times a year. Please watch this website, and our monthly
Newsletter that is mailed to all PTA presidents every month, for
announcements of dates and topics. Our mission, like that of all levels
of PTA, is to speak on behalf of children, to assist parents and to
encourage parent involvement in schools. I look forward to working with
you throughout the coming school year to get more parents involved and
to help local PTA units do good things for schools and kids.
