The FCCPTA Bylaws are due for revision this year.  Please review the DRAFT FCCPTA Bylaws Revision prior to this meeting as we will hold a vote to adopt the revision during the meeting.

This month our featured FCPS presenters are Dale Rumburger and Kevin Sneed. Their brief presentation is on the Educational Specifications used in facility planning. Educational Specifications are the guiding documents used to design our buildings - essentially the program descriptions, space requirements and program requirements. At our meeting FCPS has requested time on our agenda to discuss with parents how program delivery, student learning styles, and the impact of new technologies impact the building capacity and needs. In addition to classrooms and instructional spaces, there are other features of the educational specifications which focus on student circulation (corridors), safety & security, common spaces (library, cafeteria etc) and traffic flow. Please plan to attend the presentation and participate in the input session which follows.
