Scholarship Application

Selection criteria include: scholastic achievement; activities; financial need; industry and motivation; character; essay; and recommendations. School/Training Program must relate to CTE Area of Study. The student’s base high school must have a PTA or PTSA in good standing.

ESSAY

Please attach an essay (250 words or less) which details your plans for use of the education which you would receive as a result of this scholarship. Describe any factors that influenced your decision to pursue this career.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Please identify a guidance counselor, Career & Technical Education (CTE) teacher, and one additional adult (e.g., employer, teacher, neighbor, coach, clergy, friend, etc.) who can attest to your qualifications. Attach a letter of recommendation from each.

COMPLETE THE ENTIRE APPLICATION AND INCLUDE:

  1. A copy of your high school transcript
  2. Your essay
  3. One letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor
  4. One letter of recommendation from a Career & Technical Education (CTE) teacher
  5. One letter of recommendation from another adult (employer, teacher, neighbor, coach, clergy, friend, etc.)
