Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Appoints New County Executive

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors appoints Bryan Hill as new county executive, effective January 2, 2018, to replace retired Edward Long.

Why is this important? The county executive works works at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors and proposes the county-wide budget each fiscal year, which includes education. FCCPTA will be ready to work with Executive Bryan Hill on DAY ONE to ensure education is the number one priority for Fairfax County.  Education is the main reason why Fairfax County is globally competitive and why families move and remain in the county.

Please take a few minutes a fill out the FCCPTA budget ideas form so FCCPTA can inform Executive Hill as he works on releasing the FY2019 advertised budget plan (proposed) in mid-February 2018.

The PTA is working for you!
